Program Description

EMU Bright Futures is thrilled to be a part of the Romulus Elementary school community!  We strive to offer a positive atmosphere, enriched with supportive staff and community partners, and by providing opportunities for second through fifth grade students to explore, learn, have fun in community building and leadership activities. The program runs Monday through Thursday, directly after school for two and a half hours.

Our program includes snack and supper, clubs, and daily academic enrichment time. In addition to our regular staff, we partner with a variety of community vendors to bring youth exciting learning opportunities through different club formats. We also offer youth-led family events that showcase youth leadership and highlight their talents. There may also be opportunities for off-site field trips for participating youth. Every summer we provide  a six-week summer program that runs alongside the RCS summer school program schedule.

If you are interested in adding your student to the EMU Bright Futures at Romulus Elementary wait list, please complete a Bright Futures interest form and return it to your child’s teacher or the main office.
