Brittany Burton is the Site Coordinator at Adams Middle
Brittany Burton is the Site Coordinator at Adams Middle School. Brittany began her journey with EMU Bright Futures in 2019 as a Student Program Instructor at Holmes Elementary School in Ypsilanti. The following year, she became the Assistant Site Coordinator at Holmes. In 2020, Brittany graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.S. in Psychology and Social Work and in 2021 graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master’s in Social Work. Brittany has always had a passion for helping children and families and is a strong advocate for mental health! Brittany is excited to continue her new journey in Westland, MI with her students at AMS!

Program Description
Bright Futures at Adams Middle School is a fun, safe and engaging after-school program available to all students at our school (6th-8th grade). Our goal is to assist students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth into strong young independent adults as they move though middle school and transition to high school. Our program runs after school, Monday – Thursday 2:40pm-5:30pm throughout the school year.
